Neurodegenerative Diseases

neuron is a nerve cell that is the basic building block of the nervous system which includes brain and spinal cord. They cannot repair or renew themselves if once damaged. If they die then neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson disease, Lewy body dementia, frontotemporal dementia, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Huntington disease, and prion diseases occurs. Most of the neurodegenerative diseases are incurable.
